Well, my personal preference is bad news first then the good news to try and lighten the mood after the bad news. So, here goes the bad news first. We took our dog AJ to the vet and then a cancer specialist. He previously had oral cancer and it appears to be back. So we went to see about getting this round removed surgically. Before I go on, I should mention he also has anal gland cancer which was diagnosed around the end of May, early June of last year. We opted not to have it removed since this would affect his quality of life. Unfortunately, we found in addition to these two, the cancer has spread and possibly come back from other previous rounds of cancer. He has cancer in both lungs, his spleen, and intestine. Therefore, there is nothing to be done other than make him comfortable. I am happy to report though, he shows no signs of these cancers causing him any discomfort.

Now the happy news. My sister-in-law got married and gave me a brother-in-law, officially. They have been dating for some time, but didn’t come close to going as long as my husband and I did before we got married. We had a blast at the wedding, and it was nice to see family again. I spent most of the night on the dance floor, and had an absolute blast.
